pt.fwd is excited to host an "Artist Exchange" with Synoptic Frequencies, a quarterly concert series in St. Louis, Missouri, featuring experimental music performed in sacred spaces. On Sunday, November 17 (St. Louis) and Saturday, November 23 (Bloomington-Normal), Synoptic Frequencies and pt.fwd will present concerts showcasing artists from each other's communities.
Oxherding is the solo project of Fitz Hartwig, using hardware and software synthesizers, field recordings, and laptops to create fluid and tonal sound meditations. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, Hartwig also runs the Distant Bloom record label.
Gabe Raines is an experimental composer interested in exploring gentleness, structured improvisation, and sounds that aren't completely digestible by the machinations of capitalism. These explorations can take the form of abstract solo piano, dreamlike multimedia experiences, or…
